May product update: New filters and file upload features

We’re continuing to march towards our vision of a world in which doing an ad hoc analysis and prototyping dashboards has never been easier. We’ve just made two huge steps in that direction with simple file uploads and filters.

Filters & inputs (beta)

You can now create interactive Smartbooks and Smart Reports in seconds. Simply use {{}} in SQL or text cells or the variable ID in a Python cell.

You can choose from: numbers, dates, boolean, text or list.

Coming soon: Dual-input date and number sliders.

🦆 Upload files with DuckDB

Need to merge data from your database with data from a CSV? No problem!

Simply upload a file and query it like you would any tables in your data warehouse.

🔌 Connect your DB

If you haven’t already connected your data source of choice, you can now easily do that in just a few clicks.
